Equine Hoofcare and Rehabilitation is a registered business based near Kinglake, Northern Victoria.

Equine Hoofcare & Rehabilitation use a holistic approach in the treatment of horses and their pathologies, looking not only at barefoot trimming aspect, but the horse as a whole. Having studied equine podiatry in depth and coming from a farrier background, we now employ a more natural way of hoofcare.

Equine Hoofcare Rehabilitation

We offer rehabilitation of chronic hoof pathologies ie navicular, laminitis, severe hoof cracks and club foot to name a few. Horses may be given herbs, bach flower remedies and homeopathic treatments where needed. Whilst in our care, we can offer Bowen therapy, Photonic therapy, Light therapy and/or acupuncture for any body / emotional issues.

When horses arrive they are assessed both physically and emotionally and their dietary needs are met using as natural a feed as possible. Not all the horses that arrive here have just hoof pathologies. We have also successfully treated skin conditions, arthritis, ringbone, muscular/skeletal issues and torn ligaments and severe wounds.
